Issue 10 (March 5th)

p. 52: Swearing-in of some of the new female Bundeswehr soldiers with hands on the troop colour (http://www.fotw.ca/flags/de^.html)

p. 147: Umberto Bossi, leader of the northern Italian separatist party "Lega Nord" wearing a scarf and a shirt with the "Sun of the Alps" (symbol of Padania), which is also used on flags (http://www.fotw.ca/flags/it-pad.html)

Issue 11 (March 12th)

p. 7: Parade of army units of the People's Republic of China (Anti-aircraft missiles HQ-2) at the Tiananmen Square in Beijing (1999); only plain red flags visible.

p. 44: Angela Merkel, leader of the German party CDU during the "Politischer Aschermittwoch" (Political Ash Wednesday); little Bavarian flags in the background

p. 76: Members of the German right-extremist party NPD in front of their shop in Ehringshausen (Hessen); surprisingly a flag used during the Weimar Republic is on display, obviously because of the black-white-red colours.
